Criminal Justice
Welcome to the Criminal Justice program!
The Criminal Justice program offers an Associate of Applied Science degree course of study. The program provides a broad curriculum for students that wish to pursue careers in Criminal Justice. In recent years the Criminal Justice field has grown and many new careers have developed.
Career possibilities for students completing this program include but are not limited to Police Officer (Tribal, BIA, Deputy Sheriff, Municipal, Highway Patrol) Security Officer, Parole and Probation Officer, Juvenile Probation Officer, Transportation Safety Officer, United States Customs and Homeland Security. All employment opportunities will have some type of pre-employment requirements. These will and may include college requirements, criminal background checks, physical examinations, psychological examinations and licensing examinations.
Any student wishing to enroll in this program must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license from their home state and provide a criminal background check. Once a student has been accepted they must maintain arrest free and present the professional attitude required in this prestigious career they have chosen.
