Welcome Parents!

On behalf of all staff members from the Office of Residence Life, welcome to the United Tribes Technical College family! It has been a long road leading to this point in time, but all of the sacrifices and hard work have paid off. As you may know, making a transition to college can be challenging for students and parents alike. While adjusting to children being on their own developing their individual identity and preparing for their future careers, parents are going through adjustments issues of their own. In addition, parents are often concerned with a variety of issues including the safety, well-being and success of their children.

If you are like many parents, you may have a number of questions related to your new role of parent of a first year college student. There are resources provided throughout our web site at: www.uttc.edu  please know that we see ourselves as a partner in the success of our students. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns related to your child and their residential experience.

Sincerely

Eveleen Cook

What is the Difference between Housing and Residence Life?

Housing and Residence Life are separate entities at UTTC.

Residential Life

Residence Life is part of our Community Wellness program. Residential Life provides accommodations for single students that are housed within the dormitory buildings on the UTTC campus, and works to enhance the overall residential experience for students.

Housing

Housing falls under Student & Campus Services; the housing department accommodates family units, students that come in married with or without children, or single parents with children.
