CHC was instituted to promote the healing of students who are impeded by the disease of alcoholism and other addictions throughout Indian Country. It was founded on the belief that Native Americans are able to determine their own destiny. Only with the sense of dedication and unity can the Chemical Health Center begin to positively impact the devastation that alcoholism and other addictions have brought to the Native Americans. CHC believes that a culturally sensitive, holistic approach is crucial to recovery from alcoholism and other addictions.
