Construction Technology
Program Learner Outcomes
Graduates of the Construction Technology program will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to use and work safely with tools of the trade in a safe and efficient manner (i.e. circular saws, electric drills, power planers);
- Demonstrate the skills and knowledge to plan and execute construction projects to completion;
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and plans;
- Demonstrate and apply practical carpentry skills in light frame construction methods; and
- Comprehend and communicate written, verbal, and visual information as it relates to construction technology.
