The Summer Education Institute is designed to:
- Promote discussion about innovative integration of Native American culture into curriculum and content areas.
- Promote discussion about innovative use of technology in math and science curriculum.
- Offer networking opportunities for K-12 and post-secondary educators, school board leaders, and administrators.
- Discuss successes and challenges involved in implementing the No Child Left Behind Act.

Institute Opportunities
Concurrent Sessions:
Concurrent Sessions are 75 minutes in length and include time for questions and answers. You may choose
from 18 concurrent sessions daily.
Special Interest Sessions:
Special Interest Sessions focus on the implications of the "No Child Left Behind" Act, training by NASA,
Leadership Development, Policy Development and School Improvement processes for School Boards, Native American
Culture, Tribal College GIS/GPS/RS, and other topics of interest for participants. Special Interest Sessions
may be panel discussions, seminars, make-'n-take, demonstrations, or other activities.
All Concurrent and Special Interest Sessions as well as daily cultural activities are included in the Conference Registration Fee.
