Position Title:  Property & Supply Manager

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Under the direct supervision of the VP of Student & Campus Services, performs all or some of the following duties:
  1. Working in conjunction with the Comptroller and the Department/Program managers, to ensure prompt delivery of supplies and processing of orders.
  2. Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment and delivery to departments
  3. Record items taken from inventory and note when orders are filled.
  4. Allocates work assignments and issues deadlines to ensue that deliveries are made in a timely manner and all equipment is tagged and recorded.
  5. Work on developing and maintaining a computerized system for inventory.
  6. Will alert the comptroller and the various program managers of any potential problems with orders or deliveries.
  7. Prepares, maintains, and submits reports and records, billings to departments, and such budgets and operational and personnel reports.
  8. Punctual and reliable in reporting to work.
  9. Perform all other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

Supervisory responsibility for property and supply personnel.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to lift heavy objects, stooping and bending and delivery of items. Normal working hours are from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm with one hour for lunch, occasional overtime, which may include weekends and/or holidays, may be necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum qualifications are a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 2 or more experience with procurement, inventory, and employee supervision processes preferred. A minimum of an Associates degree in Business or Accounting with three years of procurement, inventory with a strong supervisory background. A strong knowledge of computer skills preferable use of Microsoft Office products. Incumbent with experience in Fixed Asset Pro or similar software knowledge is highly preferred. Position requires a current, valid North Dakota drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle record. A copy of drivers license needs to be submitted with application. Applicant must successfully pass a background check.
