Position Title: Online Course Developer - Part Time
Department: Educational Outreach

Status: Exempt, Part-Time, Temporary
The Online Course Developer will act as Subject Matter Expert for either Criminal Justice, Small Business Management, or Tribal Management. Under direct supervision of the Educational Outreach Director, performs all or some of the following duties:
- Develop online courses related to their areas of expertise that adhere to established UTTC instructional design criteria.
- Create unit or chapter summaries, weekly discussion questions, assignments, quizzes, and tests based on existing course syllabus.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The coursework is developed online; conditions will vary depending on where the Course Developer is accessing my.uttc.edu.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited postsecondary institution. Possess strong technology and keyboarding skills. Complete UTTC’s online course developer training in either a face-to-face or online environment.
Previous experience teaching online helpful, but not required.
