- Commending North Dakota U. S. Senator Byron L. Dorgan for his service to American Indians and Alaska Natives
- Supporting final passage of health care reform in the 111th Congress
- Supporting set-asides for tribes and tribal colleges in the “jobs bill” proposed by the Administration for the second session of the 111th Congress
- Supporting tribal organizations, including tribal colleges, to be a part of the consultation process for Indian tribes now being developed with executive branch agencies
- Designating the American Indian College Fund as administrator of Indian Education Scholarship Holding Fund Created by the Cobell Settlement
- Encouraging tribes to participate in climate change discussions at national and international levels
- Urging President Obama to appoint Native Americans as Federal Judges
- Urging a comprehensive review of Indian education policy
