ATHLETIC HAPPY FEET: United Tribes Fitness Specialist Dan Molnar, left, is the picture of gratitude owing to a substantial donation made by Dennis Kemmesat, owner of Epic Sports. "We're talking about 31 pairs of top-quality athletic shoes from size 6 to 10," said Molnar of the generous donation made February 9. The footwear will be used by athletes in Molnar's new track program at UTTC. "A good pair of shoes, like these, can be used anytime," he said. "Some runners go through a pair in a matter of months." Others will be awarded to members of the UTTC walking club and other programs coordinated by the college's Strengthening Lifestyles Program. "When we first visited about this, I had hoped for some good words and the possibility of a partnership," said Molnar. "I was really surprised when he pointed to this whole stack of shoes." Kemmesat also expressed an interest in being involved in the college's Thunderbird Run half-marathon. The retail value of his donation is approximately $3,000. Epic Sports handles quality products for bicycling, running, swimming, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing from its location at 1501 Mapleton Avenue, Bismarck
