"Meet United Tribes" is scheduled for Monday, March 6, 2006, at 7 p.m. at the Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino in the Oak Tree Room 2.
As one of the oldest and most successful of the nation's tribally controlled colleges and universities, United Tribes delivers excellence in education for American Indian students and their families.
At the informal reception, representatives will be available to talk about "going to school without leaving home" through the college's distance education programs.
No RSVP required. Refreshments will be served.
The reception takes place in conjunction with the "Supporting Student Success" conference, March 6 - 8, at the Barona resort and casino near San Diego, CA.
The annual conference for Adult Vocational Training (AVT) professionals provides up-to-date information about vital topics, including funding levels, legislation, and program updates that affect the education of American Indians.
