Business students awarded scholarships
01 March 2010

LEADING THE WAY: Students in the United Tribes Business Bachelor’s Program received some timely assistance in the form of much-needed scholarships. The business group is the first cohort of students in four-year programs to be offered and conferred entirely at United Tribes. However, during the college’s transition to advanced degree programs, students are without customary access to funding from their tribal agencies. The scholarships presented February 4 during a small ceremony at the president’s office were made possible with the support of the American Indian College fund. Some of the recipients in the cohort who joined UTTC President David M. Gipp (at left) are, from left, Cody Conica, Urusala Kary LaTray, Matt St. John, Mikelyn Tieman, Glen Fox, and Lisa Stump.
