BISMARCK (UTN) - Congratulations are in order for RUSSELL SWAGGER on completing the program for a doctorate through Capella University. Swagger (St. Croix Chippewa Tribe of Wisconsin) is the United Tribes Vice President of Student and Campus Services. His coursework and research over the past three-and-one-half years culminated in a quantitative study of employee burnout. His dissertation, “Silent Killer; A Study of Job Burnout in a Post-Secondary Educational Setting” will be published in the near future through Capella.
SHERI BEAR KING BAKER has been appointed to serve on the North Dakota Parole Board. The appointment was made in January by Governor John Hoeven. Baker (Standing Rock) is the United Tribes Director of Community Wellness Services. She will serve a three year term on the board, replacing Richard Davidson of Grand Forks, a good friend of her late father Leonard Bear King.
