Student Senate Election

BISMARCK (UTN) - Votes will be cast online by United Tribes Technical College students for the first time ever in the college’s Student Senate Election on Tuesday, April 14.

      Students may vote from 12 a.m. until 11 p.m. that day by accessing the “my uttc.edu” web page. It requires a student ID number and password to log on.

Student Senate Candidate Eligibility

  • Full-time student (12 or more credits per semester)
  • Academic standing of 2.5 GPA or better
  • Good attendance and be attending classes on the main campus
  • No major security violations

      In case of problems, students are asked to contact their advisor.

      Up for election will be these Student Senate positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian/St. at Arms, and Historian.

      Students who would like to run for a position are asked to contact me, Jesi Shanley, in the Education building lower level, east side.

      A candidate public forum will be held Thursday, April 2 at 2 p.m.in the James Henry Community Building. The candidates will be introduced and answer questions.

      We look forward to fresh ideas, positive attitudes and students interested in learning about leadership.
