Tribal Elders to Speak at UTTC

BISMARCK (UTN) – United Tribes Technical College will host an oral history learning forum featuring elders from North Dakota tribes on Wednesday, April 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Healing Room of the Lewis Goodhouse Wellness Center on the college campus.
Invited to present "Life Lessons Through Oral Tradition," are: Ambrose and Anna Little Ghost, Spirit Lake Tribe; Duane and Bonnie Fox, Three Affiliated Tribes; Cecelia Myerion, Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa; George Ironshield, Standing Rock Tribe; LaDonna Brave Bull Allard, Standing Rock Tribe; Perry No Tears Brady, Three Affiliated Tribes; and Edwin Benson, Three Affiliated Tribes. Each is a distinguished and respected member of his/her tribe.
The event is open to the campus community and public. Refreshments will be served.
