BISMARCK, ND - Albert White Hat, Sr., an American Indian scholar, teacher and spiritual leader, is scheduled to present at talk Friday, April 15 at United Tribes Technical College. His presentation, "Native American Language and Education," begins at 1 p.m. in the lower level of the Jack Barden Center.
Mr. White Hat directs the Lakota language program at Sinte Gleska University, Mission, SD, and is author of the book, "Reading and Writing the Lakota Language," 1999, University of Utah Press.
The event is open to the public free of charge.
