Students present ideas for next sculpture
27 April 2006

THIRD VIEW OF EAGLES: Cante' Skuya Hall-One Feather (Oglala), left, and Robin Chasing Hawk (Cheyenne River) present a model to the Bismarck Park District Board of one design for the next eagles sculpture project. The spherical-based design, "Eagles View - Eagles Duty", would be 13 feet high. The design represents a messenger taking prayers to the Creator. Two other designs were also presented to the board April 20 by UTTC Art-Art Marketing students, who will build the project. It will be the third of six, yearly public sculptures done by UTTC students for Bismarck city parks. Construction begins during summer school, after the board decides on a design. UTN photo Dennis J.
