ONLINE INSTRUCTOR PROFILE
Sheri Okland is a United Tribes online adjunct instructor. She teaches all the online general education courses. Sheri is very dedicated to her students and UTTC. She provides the tools for the learners to be successful with their online courses.

Sheri Okland has been teaching online for United Tribes Technical College since 2005. Prior to that she was an elementary education teacher. She began her career teaching first grade at Standing Rock Grant School in Fort Yates before moving to UTTC Theodore Jamerson Elementary School where she taught a combination 5th/6th grade classroom.
Sheri and her family moved from Bismarck to Fargo in 2000, where she continued to teach elementary school before obtaining her Masterís degree in Educational Leadership with Technology. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education.
Sheri is an experienced instructional designer and has designed and taught numerous online courses for the past six years. She has presented at regional and national conferences, and frequently conducts presentations for educators about emerging instructional technologies. Sheri has a husband and two children.
