BISMARCK (UTN) – United Tribes Technical College will host a criminal justice summer camp in July that features the college’s virtual firearms simulator.
The camp is set for July 15-19, sponsored by the college’s Criminal Justice department. Invited are high school juniors and seniors from towns and cities in the region who are interested in the criminal justice profession.

Students will have an opportunity to experience the VirTra 300. Surrounded by video screens, participants will handle virtual firearms to practice marksmanship and engage in life-like law enforcement scenarios without the attendant danger.
The United Tribes simulator is used by law enforcement agencies in the region and students who train for criminal justice work.

The camp will include presentations by criminal justice professionals, field trips and tours, and orientation about the law enforcement system, the courts and corrections. Meals and lodging will be provided.
