‘Out of this World’ Party

Forty-five TJES students with perfect attendance for the month of April were treated to a party at Space Aliens restaurant on May 10. They had a menu choice of up to five items.

Students with perfect attendance in the past were rewarded with trips to Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut and Midway Lanes. On the trip to Pizza Hut, students had access to all the food they wanted from the salad bar and buffet.

Attendance War

Since the beginning of April, a new battle for the attendance trophy was waged between Mrs. Olsen’s 4th graders, Mrs. Steven’s 8th graders and the newcomers, Mrs. Higlin’s 6th graders!

It had been tussle between 8th grade and 4th grade for the entire school year but now new champions have risen from the ranks. The determined 6th graders captured the attendance trophy and received a laminated copy of their victory photograph.
