3 June 2010

HEALTHFUL REMINDER: The beautiful pink blossoms will be a future reminder that women’s health is priority. Julie Cain, at left, and Julie Beston Sage took part in the May 13 event that marked National Women’s Health week. The tree planting event took place on the south side of the Education Building and was organized by Tamera Marshall and Ruth Buffalo-Zarazua of the Strengthening Lifestyles Program. The Pink Spire Flowering Crab tree was donated to United Tribes by S & B Landscaping of Bismarck. It was planted by Bernard Strikes Enemy and Tom Red Bird Jr. Lisa and Tony Stump provided Chippewa/Cree songs during the ceremony.
