Chance Fox
Construction Technology student Chance Fox (Three Affiliated) Roseglen, ND, puts finishing touches on solid oak cabinets in the UTTC house that will be open for viewing July 6 - 8.

An open house is scheduled for a three bedroom home built during the 2004-05 school year in the college Skill Center Building.

The public is invited to tour the building between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.

All major work was done by students, including hand-made oak cabinetry, vaulted ceilings, and all plumbing and electrical work, according to Michael Matheny, Construction Technology Instructor. The 1,248 sq. ft. home has 2 x 6 exterior walls with R19 insulation and a rough-look, Nova brick exterior.

Following open house, the home will be sold to the highest bidder.

The United Tribes Skill Center is the first building visitors meet when arriving on campus. Parking and access to the open house are available on the building's south side.
