Science building is symbol of growth
27 September 2010

REFLECTING THE NEW U: Construction progress moved along rapidly over summer on the new United Tribes Science and Technology building. The gleaming wall of glass on the two-story, 38,000 square foot building faces the center of a circular campus layout. It is the first structure on the college’s new, south campus. As a symbol of college growth, the building challenges students and staff members to “stretch your imaginations and raise your standards of performance and accomplishment,” said Russell Swagger, Vice President of Student and Campus Services, during fall orientation. The first programs in will be Criminal Justice, Nursing, and Computer Information Technology. Full instructional use of the building is expected for spring term, after the first of the year.
