UTTC Presents "Community Day" at Standing Rock Community High School

BISMARCK (UTN) - United Tribes Technical College will present its first "Community Day" at Standing Rock Community High School in Fort Yates, N.D., Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The event will be held in conjunction with the District 9 volleyball tournament; there is an admission fee for the tournament.

      Instructors from the UTTC DeMaND Workforce Program will be available to discuss the class offerings and answer questions. DeMaND offers valuable vocational training for high-demand careers. A number of hands-on activities will be available, including a virtual reality welding simulator and Geographic Information Systems instruments.

  • Heavy Equipment Operations/CDL: Bear Gallineaux
  • Welding Technology: Steve Shepherd
