UTTC hosting food safety training

BISMARCK (UTN) – United Tribes Technical College offers a one-day food safety class Tuesday, November 13 hosted by the college’s Land Grant program. Experienced foodservice managers, teachers and others interested in professional food safety certification are encouraged to participate.BISMARCK (UTN) – United Tribes Technical College offers a one-day food safety class Tuesday, November 13 hosted by the college’s Land Grant program. Experienced foodservice managers, teachers and others interested in professional food safety certification are encouraged to participate.

The class is a review and study session for the National ServSafe® exam. The training is open to all

Participants are urged to register as soon as possible so they can read ServSafe® Essentials Fifth Edition prior to the class. The class size is limited to 25. The $130 fee includes the book and exam fee.

UTTC food safety educator Pat Aune is the instructor. Since 2004 she has taught the course to foodservice managers and workers, meat inspectors, environmental health specialists and teachers.
