United Tribes Technical College invites cyclists of all backgrounds and skill levels to participate in the second annual bicycle race on the college campus beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 7.

The 2nd Annual Thunderbird Classic is criterium style racing. Laps will be run on a closed-circuit around All Nations Circle, the paved avenue that rings the parade ground of historic Fort Lincoln on United Tribes Technical College campus.

Spectators are invited, free of charge, to watch the fun and exciting competition that tests the fitness and tactics in short-course, fast-paced cycle racing.

Five classes are offered for women, men and juniors, including events for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. The entry fee is $10 for beginner/intermediate and $20 for advanced. UTTC students are admitted free. All riders are welcome. Helmets are required.
